When BritKare Home Medical was established in 1995 owner, Stan Britten had a true desire to assist the medical community with quality care of their patients. From its humble beginning in the basement of Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic with 4 employees, BritKare now has 3 locations with over 60 employees; one in Amarillo, one in Pampa, one in Hereford, and the goal is still the same - take care of the patient, what ever it takes.
BritKare offers an extensive product line including custom equipment, customized and standard wheelchairs, nutritional supplements and a full line of high tech respiratory equipment. The staff at BritKare goes through rigorous training to assure patients receive the highest level of care available. With over 100 years of combined experience in healthcare, BritKare is meeting the needs of our patients. BritKare understands that our customers don’t “choose” to need our services but we “choose” to be here when they need us.
BritKare Home Medical is proud to be an Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. (ACHC) accredited organization. 
In 2004, BritKare Home Medical was awarded the Public Citizen of the Year award given by the Amarillo Unit of the National Association of Social Workers.
BritKare is also the preferred medical equipment supplier of Amarillo’s local sports teams including the Amarillo Venom, the Amarillo Sox as well as area high school teams. BritKare is also giving back to the community through The American Heart Association, March of Dimes, Panhandle Downs Syndrome Guild, Special Olympics, Children’s Miracle Network, Make - A - Wish Foundation and so much more.
